IASLIC launches Register of ‘Research in Progress’ - (RiP) Research in Progress (RiP) is an initiative of IASLIC to collate and publish information on ongoing research in the discipline of Library & Information Science in India. It is envisaged that RiP will contribute towards promotion of research by facilitating visibility of research in progress, avoid duplication of research efforts and encourage interaction amongst researchers. RiP will be available on IASLIC website. Required information IASLIC requests Departments of LIS of all universities/organisations that run Ph.D. programmes to furnish the following information on research leading to Ph.D. (only ONGOING work should be reported, and on a continuing basis) for creation of the Register: 1.
