Pazpar2 is developed by the same organization that developed the Zebra search technology used in Koha and other applications. <br>The technology can simultaneously query multiple target z39.50 servers, target servers can include:<br>- Free online databases like Project Gutenberg<br>- Paid online databases<br>- z3950 compliant Library Systems like Koha<br>
<br>It supports among other things flexible rules based merging, relevance ranking, record sorting, and faceted results. Future releases of Koha are expected to be tightly integrated with this technology.<br><br>We have prepared a demo at this link, the demo is configured to search 3 databases - LOC z3950 server, Project Gutenberg &amp; a Demo Koha installation. From the results users can navigate to the electronic resource (Project Gutenberg) or to the Koha page of the particular item. <br>
