The Global Library of O.P. Jindal Global University (http://library.jgu.edu.in) invites applications for its two-year advanced training programme, which includes a stipend.

This programme is designed for enthusiastic and motivated graduates in Library & Information Science who wish to gain comprehensive, hands-on experience in a modern university library environment.

About the Training Programme

Trainees will work across the functional units of the Global Library and gain experience in:

• Information and reference services
• Digital library services and technologies
• User engagement and orientation activities
• Metadata management and institutional repository
• e-Resource management and access systems
• Research support and scholarly communication
• Special projects, events, and library innovations

Stipend and Benefits

• Monthly stipend of ₹40,000/- per month
• Medical and accidental insurance coverage as per university policy
• A dynamic, learning-driven environment with professional mentorship

Career Opportunity

Upon successful completion, top-performing and highly skilled trainees may be offered full-time positions at the Global Library, subject to institutional requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from a recognized university or institute
• Age limit: Not more than 27 years as of 1 December 2025
• Those with prior structured library training or experience in academic libraries may apply as well.
