I am shocked to hear the sad demise of one of the stalwarts of library
profession. I know him since 1975, since I was doing my B.Lib.Sc. course
at the Bangalore University. Later when I joined M.Lib.Sc course, then
held at DRTC, Mallewaram. He was an extremely simple, dedicated, and
thorough library educationist. He used to encourage all young and budding
library professionals and always taught us to work hard with dedication. I
whole heartedly pay my tributes to this departed soul with respect and
grief.
May his soul rest in peace.
