Dear Professional friends
I am retiring from Andhra University service as a faculty on
31-01-2012. In this context I would like to express my deep sense of gratitude
to all my professional friends for their encouragement, appreciations, extending
cooperation, support and help.
I feel GOD almighty has given me more than what I deserve….good
career, loving students, affectionate professional friends. My sincere prostrates
to HIM!!
There is a long list of professors and librarians who made me what I
am today. I am not mentioning their names for obvious reasons. I would like to
express my deep sense of gratitude to all my beloved professional gurus’.
I am indebted a lot to my students and scholars who made me a teacher!
It is great pleasure to be a teacher!
I owe a lot to the departments who have invited me as a resource
person that gave an opportunity to keep abreast of the current developments; this
support made my stay in career enjoyable.
I am grateful for the young professional friends for helping me to
learn and practice the technological advances…especially the software.
I would like to take retirement from all professional activities except
for focused research on developing e-learning package for digital libraries
course.
It was a wonderful experience working with you all. I
am going with a lot of good memories which will be long cherished. I miss you
all till the time we meet again :))
Bidding a farewell to you all
Thanks, regards and affections
Varalakshmi
