Dear Friends, It is exactly a week back on this day ( Saturday) morning, the shocking news about the tragic death of Dr. Rajashekhar shook all of us. Many of us, who are closely known him for long and interacted with him on professional matters, find it hard to take in this news.The fact that, he is physically no more amongst us is not simply sinking in yet in our mind and heart. We have lost in him a thorough and a dedicated professional, a serious researcher, organisation builder, a teacher, a best friend and above all a good human being. It is a great loss to the profession and friends like us. He was one of those very few people, who worked tirelessly to train and prepare the young professionals with expertise in IT application to LIS. The best way to remember and respect this departed soul is to dedicate our efforts towards constantly improving our services by effectively using IT, for which he worked all through his career. Me and all my colleagues at DA-IICT, pray to God Almighty to rest his soul in peace and give a strength to the bereaved family and colleagues at NCSI.
