*Dear Professional Friends,* I am happy to inform all of you that the IALA has filed its memorandum to the Pay Review Committee of UGC for consideration of including our demands in the recommendations of 7th PRC of UGC. Some time back I had given a call through this forum to all the Academic Librarians to send the anomalies to be included in our appeal. I thank everybody who have responded to our call. We have tried our best it include all the sentiments of our Academic Librarians in the petition. The following are the points which we have included in our 26 pages of our petition. If at all there are any more issues left out, I request all of you to kindly alert us. We will include the same in another additional representation. If at all any other LIS Professional Associations are desirous of using our petition and submit to the PRC, they are most welcome.
