I have pleasure in inviting you to our 20th Lecture in the Informatics Annual Lecture series, scheduled for 27th August 2024. This year’s lecture is being arranged in Bangalore after a long gap. The lecture is delivered by:

DR. CAROLYN WATTERS, Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Computer Science, Dalhousie University, Canada, who is in India on a series of lecture programs.

She will be speaking on the topic: Responsible AI – Developing policies and regulations that balance the risk and benefits of enhanced AI.

As part of this year’s lecture program, we have a short post-lunch seminar with a panel discussion preceding the Lecture. Here is a brief program outline:

02:30 – 5:00 PM: Seminar on the Future of Search in AI Era, with a panel discussion on the same topic.

5:30 – 7:00 PM: 20th Annual Lecture on Informatics.

7:30 PM: Dinner.
