Godfathers or Ghost writers Dear professionals I condemn on sharing an authorship in articles or any kind of publication with students, research scholar/ colleagues who have put zero efforts in making an article. Professors, librarians and many others experts are courteous enough to be involved in this activity. Why I am feeling bad for it is that Master degree dissertations are turning to be an articles. here students will put a lot of efforts mentally and physically to complete dissertation, as soon as the dissertation is completed the ghost writers will be born to the same articles, when the article is made a scholar who has worked hard for preparing dissertation may not get an authorship or sometimes he/she may be the last author. Scholar may also become mirthless when another person name who is not concerned in any way is put in his/her work. So here is my sincere obsecration to all professionals who are writing paper for the career betterment of their colleagues/students to stop this activity. Let us be faithful in producing genuine researcher. Please never and ever help any slacker to be an author in any publications. If you really want to help your students or colleague to grow in their line of career, impart your knowledge but kindly do not share authorship with any slacker because it may affect on genuine researcher. Sometimes No. of articles published may be effectual factor in getting a job. According to the guidelines given by UGC, academic performance of any professionals will be assessed based on APIs. That's the No of publication they make. So, Just for the sake of getting points fake authors are produced by our professionals. I personally feel that APIs shouldn't be assessed based on number of publications therefore Impact factor of Journals in which the publications are made, citation and H-index only these factors has to be considered for constituting API score but unfortunately we can't do anything for the UGC's decision in this regard. Another shameful thing is that many journals are headed with editorial board but they don't even bother about the quality of articles. Without having a look at the paper they just publish as they receive from the authors. Sorry to point out that even if u put any vulgar word in a paper they don't even identify it and publish the paper in their journal. It can be a simple example of how the editorial board is failed to care for papers. Seeing this I have really become dumbfounded and don't know what these so called editors are doing. Eventually I would like to tell my feelings on our great Godfathers or Ghost writers that I am really not happy and feeling comfortable with these kinds of happenings in our field. For me it's really a matter of shame and I considered it as an offense.
