I regret to inform our professional
colleagues, the sad and untimely demise of Shri. K.T.Somashekar,
Retd. University Librarian, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, on
29th November 2007after a very short illness.
He was an alumnus of the Dept. of Library &
Information Science, University of Mysore. He had served the University of
Agricultural Sciences for a very long period of time.
Shri. Somashekar was a very soft spoken,
mild-mannered person. He was a regular attendee of professional meetings.
May his soul rest in peace.
