Dear professional friends The lisforum has been an obsession for the professional friends all over India and abroad. The shock among the professionals were visible in the many messages that appear in the forum. Some suggestions to keep alive the forum also were found posted. The NCSI has been doing a wonderful job of maintaining the forum for quiet long. It is not the simple task of allotting some server space and maintaining the software to be appreciated. The intellectual task of moderating the messages without any bias needs sincere appreciation. Who will take up this responsibility? I openly call upon the Indian Library Association or any other State Library Association to take up the matter and do a wonderful job without any bias.
