Well, as such - I do not have hands-on experience on CMS. However, it
appears that Drupal http://drupal.org/ is the best among Open Source
Softwares.
According to
http://www.packtpub.com/award
The top ones are:
1) Drupal http://drupal.org/- Often compared with Joomla/Mambo,
Drupal is a solid, high quality platform that are claimed to be user
friendly and well liked by web developers.
2) Joomla http://www.joomla.org/ - One of the most popular and
commonly used CMS today.
3) CMS made simple http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/ - A much simpler
solution that is fast to learn, easy to use.

Have you thought about using OPen Source CMS systems. I know we have been looking at them at work, but don't know the names of them.

We are planning to implement a "Content Management System" to manage the content in our organisation. Please let me know of any good CMS application that we can use.
Please also indicate its user-friendliness, cost, ease of implementation, if ready-to-use tutorials are available, size of content it can handle, number of users. etc.
Kindly share your experiences with the same.
