[LIS-Forum] Accepting documents as gifts

To Mr Saji S Nair: I think accepting or giving as gifts needs same consideration from both the giver and reciever. If the gift is not appropriate it does not make sense accepting it. Instead as lirarians always do we must guide the person to that library which will accept the same and use it well. So some work on the part of the reciever is to guide to the correct doner. In all such cases however close or important the doner I have felt being clear and honest alwsys makes for better management.
