Mr. Kumaresan I have not come across any specific "library space standards" in India atleast. But there are standards in other countries, which are followed. But what i want to suggest is, there are space, furniture and equipment standards for making libraries accessible to the disabled, which could be followed, and will also work for other normal people.I had come across some of these references during my seminar paper on "Adaptive technologies : facilitating access to information for the disabled." please note that these standards have not been made in India.
