PROGRAMME OF IASLIC and BLA

Dr. Barun Mukherji, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and former Librarian & Teacher of Library and Information Science will deliver IASLIC’s XVth Annual Ranganathan Memorial Lecture, 2008 on Books, Libraries And Culture at the Seminar Room, Bose Institute, P-1/12 CIT Scheme-VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata 700 054 on Thursday March 26, 2009 at 6.00 P.M.

Bengal Library Association (BLA) will release a book ‘Bangla Pustak Bargikaran’ (Classification of Bengali Books) edited by Sri Ramkrishna Saha, President, Bengal Library Association at the Seminar Room, Bose Institute, P-1/12 CIT Scheme-VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata 700 054 on Thursday March 26, 2009 .

Prof. Pabitra Sarkar, Vice-President, Paschimbanga Bangla Academy and former
Vice-Chancellor, Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata will release the book and preside over the function.
