1. Where should be library building located?

             2. Whether above the canteen or centrally located in

                  a separate building considering points mentioned in the standard IS:1553?

 

I am thankful to all my professional colleagues and greatful to everybody who have responded. I am also greatful to Dr. S.R. RANGANATHAN who has given us Indian Standards on different fields in library science.  My management has taken care of the safety of Library & Information Centre which they wanted to build above the canteen as erlier decided.  Now they are shifting the canteen from the existing place.

Lis-forum has helped me in raising my voice and there is a change in the decision in CPRI.
