Dear Professionals, Karnataka State Library Association mourns the untimely and sad demise of Prof. N.B. Pangannayya. He served Department of LIS, University of Mysore for more than three decades with a small stint at Mangalore as University Librarian. For the last few years he worked very hard to prepare course material for LIS of Karnataka State Open University aswell organised contact programs. I too had the opportunity of being part of KSOU programs as Guest Lecturer. A very down to earth person. We have lost an efficient professional and a good teacher. May his soul rest in peace.
