There is a position open for JRA (Junior Research Associate) with ITC R&D Centre based in  Bangalore

 Eligibility & Requirements

ü   M.L.I.S. (Masters in Library & Information Science) or equivalent degree and Additional qualifications in IT will be preferred

ü  Library management

ü   Ability to create internal newsletters/ bulletins and handling daily newsletters

ü   Carry out online publishing, maintaining tools for Information services, Intranet site maintenance

ü   Ability to understand the Scientists' area of interest and set-up alerts

ü   The candidate is expected to be well versed with computers, Internet and library software's/tools

ü   Excellent communication skills

ü   Good customer service skills and analytical skills

ü   Ability to apply existing and emerging technologies to new initiatives and improve library services

ü   Ability to work both independently and in a team

ü   Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple deadlines without losing focus on quality

ü   Keen learner & Pro-active

Required Experience: 0-2 Years

Functional Area: Knowledge Centre/Library

Salary: As per Corporate standard
