Dear all,

The crowning of Prof Talwar, Ex-HOD Dept. of LIS, Univ. of Mysore as the Vice-Chancellor of the Mysore University should be undoubtedly celebrated by the fellow librarians all over the country as a great occasion. This selection whereas on one hand is a great tribute to Prof. Talwar's personal academic excellence as well as his administrative acumen, it is on the other hand also a tribute to the unbiased and wise decision of the governor of the state who has deemed it fit to stamp his acknowledgement to the all round contributions that a good librarian can make to the University system.
