Dear Prof. Laxman Rao and prof. Amudhavalli, As per my data collection over decades on LIS research, the following Universities have produced PhDs in LIS in India since 1950s. There could be some more universities that may be offering LIS course without producing any PhD till 2014. The list may be updated with missing universities if any.
