Age : 25-30 years. Relaxable in exceptional cases
Essential Qualifications:
M.L.I.Sc
or Associateship in Information Science from (DRTC/NISCAIR) or Advanced
Training from NCSI-IISc, with degree in Science.
Experience:
2-3 years of work experience in library of a reputed R&D Organization.
Desirable:
A Post-Graduate degree in Science and advanced training in library automation
Job Requirement:
The
job demands high degree of performance with proven track record in
handling modern scientific library in an excellent academic
environment. The candidate is expected to be well versed with all
functionalities of a special library with modern IT applications in the
library environment and to work in various sections in the library,
provide reference service, develop and manage electronic collections
and get actively involved in the ongoing library developmental
activities. The candidate is expected to work in shift duties.
