Dear LIS Professional,
Warm greetings from the Department of Studies in Library and Information Science.
I hope this message finds you well. The Department is currently in the process of revising the Two-Year MLISc syllabus to ensure that it remains academically sound, professionally relevant, and responsive to the changing needs of the Library and Information Science (LIS) domain.
As a practicing LIS professional, your experience and insights are extremely valuable to us. We have therefore designed a detailed online feedback survey to seek your inputs on the existing MLISc syllabus.
The survey covers all 33 courses (papers) of the programme.
You are not required to respond to all the courses.
You may provide feedback only on those papers related to your area of expertise or professional interest.
The survey provides scope to suggest additions, modifications, deletions, and also to recommend new courses that you feel are necessary for today’s LIS professionals.
Your suggestions will directly contribute to strengthening the curriculum and preparing future LIS graduates for both academic and professional challenges.
I kindly request you to spare some time and share your valuable feedback on or before 31st January 2026.
The survey link is given below:

Thank you for your continued support to LIS education and for contributing to the academic development of the discipline.
With warm regards,
Prof. Dr. N. S. Harinarayana
Chairman, Board of Studies
