[LIS-Forum] Malaysian LIS degrees

Dear Professionals, Greetings! I wish to know if Malaysian Universities degrees are recognized and accepted by UGC and other statutory bodies in India.  university of Malay ( http://www.um.edu.my/) is of one of  the oldest university in Malaysia and fully funded by Government of Malaysia. If offers masters and Ph.D. Degrees in  Library Science.
