Dr. K. P. Vijayakumar, Associate Professor and Head, DLIS,
University of Kerala is retiring from the service on 31st March 2015.
Dr. K. P. Vijayakumar has a renowned career spanning over three and half
decades, two third of which is in the Department of Library Science,
University of Kerala in various capacities. During his career, he earned
the reputation as a teacher par excellence and an efficient administrator.
He is one of the most sought-after resource persons of the academic staff
college in Library and Information Science. He is also serving as the Hon.
Director of the Centre for Information and Literary Studies.
A farewell function in this connection is scheduled to be held at Senate
Chamber of University of Kerala, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram on 30th March
2015, 2.30 pm.
