job responsibilities:

1. to acquire and manage electronic libraries of books, journals and other resources for COL staff and consultants, including the use of external services and internal library databases such as BiblioMondo and Greenstone;

2. managing news and information provider services for COL’s partners through in-depth use of available knowledge management tools, inter alia, Google News, Yahoo Pipes and Ning;

3. Researching emerging knowledge management technologies and making recommendations on their application to COL and partners; and working within a results based management environment using established guidelines.
