Kerala Library Association is organizing a National Seminar on "Redefining the Role of Public Libraries in India: Knowledge Society Imperatives" on August 6-8, 2008 at Priyadarshini Auditorium, Science and Technology Museum, PMG Junction, Trivandrum. The seminar is co-sponsored by Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation, Kolkata.

 

Representatives of RRRLF, National Knowledge Commission, The Directors of Public Libraries of the States and Union Territories, noted experts, administrators and decision makers in the field will participate. The National Seminar is expected to be a landmark in the history of library development in the country. The seminar would be useful to LIS Professionals since it proposes to cover the developments in all spheres connected with libraries. Registration fee and other details are available at KLA website,
