Dear Friends, Indian Journal of Medical Informatics (IJMI) - http://ijmi.org has adopted OJS (Open Journal System from PKP) for its online version. IJMI is an Official Organ of the Indian Association for Medical Informatics (IAMI) - http://www.iami.org.in. IAMI, dominated by professional doctors in regard to its membership, aims to promote use of Computers and IT for better health care. I am its life member and on its executive committee. IAMI had offered me to be acting Editor-in-Chief up to this November and Executive Editor for next four year. I had proposed IJMI Editorial Board to make IJMI an Open Access journal using OJS. Board readily accepted my proposal. They immediately purchased 80 MB web space and a Domain name for the Journal. OJS was installed and everything went well.
