Google has rolled out a set of guidelines and several new features to stay secure online as a part of Safer Internet Day. It is also offering 2GB worth of Google Drive Storage for those who complete security check-up by February 11. Users can take a Security Check-up to manage their Google Account’s security settings by a two-step verification system. The two-step verification requires users to sign in their accounts using a 6-digit code that is sent to their smartphones. This enables users to add a layer of security that prevents phishing even if their passsword is stolen.
