We are pleased to inform that the SLA Asian Chapter is  organizing an International conference  of Asian Special Libraries (ICoASL 2008) on Shaping the future of special  libraries:  beyond  boundaries.  This conference is coordinated in association with Society for Library Professionals, Delhi and IASLIC, Kolkatta.
 

The venue for this conference is: India Islamic Cultural Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi,  India
 
Date: 26-28 November 2008.

The  objectives of the Conference are to bring together library professionals  to a common platform, promote special libraries, and facilitate the exchange  of ideas and help bridge the knowledge gap amongst the professionals  associated with special libraries and to further develop professional competentency.

This seminar is expected to attract more than  1000 participants from India, Asia, and the U.S.
