Dear Professionals, Dakshina Kannada and kodagu Library Association mourns the sad demise of Prof. N.B. Pangannayya. He served Department of LIS, University of Mysore for more than Thirty years and also served for the Mangalore University as University Librarian. For the last few years he worked very hard to prepare course material for LIS of Karnataka State Open University as well organised contact programs and he was widely travelled man. We have lost an efficient humble and kind hearted man in the profession. May his soul rest in peace. DR.
