Dear Colleagues, Please have a look at the mail appended to this mail - its a request for two complete eBooks - sent to the lis-forum recently. I have intentionally removed the sender's email and affiliation details. Such mails are received quite frequently and as the moderator, I feel very uncomfortable to approve such mails. More often than not, I have been holding back such mails from approval. I'm aware that a request for a journal article or a book chapter for academic purpose will come under the realm of fair use clause of the copyright law. However, asking for an entire book or several articles from one issue of a journal - even for academic purpose - will be a clear violation of copyright. Your views on the matter are welcome and they will help me to take a firm decision on such requests, henceforth. With best wishes, - Moderator ----------------------------------------------------- Mail sent lis-forum Requesting for eBooks follows: Dear all, One of our faculties require following E Book urgently.?
