Dear friends of LIS-Forum
Prof. Parthasarathy, considered the Bheeshmapitamaha of LIS profession, left for the heavenly abode on 12th of this month, leaving with us the fond memories of his achievements and personality. A centenarian, he was 104 when he took his last breath on our mother earth. He lived a fulfilling life and engagingly enjoyed every minute of his life.
The Sarada Ranganathan Endowment for Library Science (Bangalore); the Ranganathan Centre for Information Studies (Chennai) and Informatics India Ltd. (Bangalore) have organised an online condolence meeting to pay homage to the departed soul.
