In addition to that I would like to give more information on the subject to the professionals that Prof. Sukhdeo Thorat, Chairman, UGC has launched the IETD (Indian Electronic Theses and Dissertations) Portal on 27th January 2010 on the occasion of Foundation Stone laying ceremony of the INFLIBNET Institutional Building at INFOCITY Gandhinagar. The IETD portal is available for access at http://ietd.inflibnet.ac.in. This initiative was taken after the UGC providing mandate through the new regulation of M.Phil/Ph.D. (more about the regulation read on my blog at http://www.inflibnet.ac.in/blog/?p=312) where UGC directed the awarding institution to submit softcopy of the thesis to INFLIBNET repository. On the occasion, Prof. S K Khanna, Chairman, Governing Board, INFLIBNET Centre launched the Open Journal System @ INFLIBNET Centre. The OJS @ INFLIBNET Centre has at the moment one journal entitled "Journal of Literature, Culture and Media Studies" on English language being published by the Professor from the Nagaland Central University, Kohima. This is a platform where the journals being published in the Indian universities and institutions will be published on INFLIBNET platform on free of charge on open access mode by using OJS platform. The editors of the journals and publishers are requested to contact either Director, INFLIBNET Centre (director@inflibnet.ac.in) or to me for hosting their journals at INFLIBNET platform.
