Thanks for this posting (corrected). Apart from pointing out the speling error, I had another purpose too. If the office BEARERS of any association turn out to be BARRIERS, then the situation may not be a desirable one and will need urgent attention. As far as I know MyLISA with Dr Harinarayana, Dr Sunil etc... it is one of the best performing Librarians' Associations in India... but restricting non-Mysore University alumni to becoming a member! MyLISA can perhaps think of removing this "barrier" to welcome Library professionals *residing in Mysore* irrespective of their alma mater !!!
