A National Workshop on Free and open source software jointly organized by Central library, Burdwan University & The Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Burdwan Sub Centre is going to be held on and from 20-22 February 09 at the Central Library, The University of Burdwan.

 Prof. Debesh Das, MIC IT, Govt. of West Bengal has inaugurate the workshop. Prof Nandini Mukherjee, Dept of Computer Science & Engg., Jadavpur University, Kolkata-32 & Secretary Institute of Open Technology & Application , West Bengal , delivered the key note address at the workshop.
