Sir, An immature comment.The library profession has own its Professor at par academic status after a long fight for due recognition for of the Librarian. However i am not in a position to justify because as per present scenario if a library work can be done by the professionals having GP/AGP 4200/4600/4800/5400/6000/8000 than why to waste 10000 AGP on another fellow this may be the view of policy makers !

I also expect some good answers with proper justifications because IIT Bombay has already created 7600 GP post (Chief library officer) in lieu of 10000 AGP as per my knowledge and many institutes may face the same in near future. What our immediate parents have done same we are getting in return this may be one case i think !
