Sir,
An immature comment. The library profession has own its Professor at par
academic status after a long fight for due recognition for of the
Librarian. Title of a given post and its concomitant entitlements should be
not overlooked.

Hello to all,
This is an excellent question and i believe some leaders will come forward to answer properly. However i am not in a position to justify because as per present scenario if a library work can be done by the professionals having GP/AGP 4200/4600/4800/5400/6000/8000 than why to waste 10000 AGP on another fellow this may be the view of policy makers !
I also expect some good answers with proper justifications because IIT Bombay has already created 7600 GP post (Chief library officer) in lieu of 10000 AGP as per my knowledge and many institutes may face the same in near future. What our immediate parents have done same we are getting in return this may be one case i think !

One of our sister concern SPA Vijaywada advertised for the post of librarian (PB-4 with AGP 10000/-) and also conducted interview for the said post but finally made this NFS. Now our authority proposing to abolish the post. The student strength is around 600 now and in future it may reach around
SPAs are institution of national importance under MHRD. Please advice me how to justify not to abolish the post. regards, -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
