LIBRARY CONSORTIA

Dear PROFESSIONAL FRIENDS
We take pleasure to bring to your notice that the
Department of Library & Information Science, Osmania
University in collaboration with Indian Library Association
is organizing a National Seminar on Library Consortia
during 22 - 23 March, 2004. It is expected that about 100
Library Science Teachers/Library Professionals will be
participating in the said Seminar.
You are one of the senior most Professors / Professionals
in LIS with wide exposure and experience in the subject
field. Therefore, the Department would like to make use of
your rich experiences for the benefit of the professionals
participating in the said Seminar. Therefore, we appeal
you earnestly to actively associate with the said National
Seminar especially by participating and contributing
articles to the Seminar.
We will be glad, if you could make it convenient to attend
the National Seminar and share your rich experiences and
knowledge with the participants. We will appreciate if you
could kindly give wide publicity among your colleagues and
professionals about the National Seminar. The Conference
brochure is enclosed herewith for your information.
Since, a limited accommodation is available at our
disposal, we request you to inform us your itinerary in
advance to the undersigned for arranging your accommodation
at OU Campus Guest Houses.
Due to limited financial resources the Department will not
be able to pay you the TA & DA for attending the
Conference.
