Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, invites applications for 09 positions of LIM Project Trainee in the JRD Tata Memorial Library (JRDTML) at the Institute.
Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of second class and Master's in Library and Information Science (MLISc) or equivalent, passed out in the year 2024 or 2025 with first class.
Nature of Traineeship: Learn and develop professional skill sets while you work on different functions and services of the library using emerging tools and technologies.
Duration: Engagement is purely temporary on a contract basis for a period of 2 years.
Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA (Gross Amount Rs.32,500/- Approximately) per month.
Selected Project Trainees are expected to work 6 days a week on any of the three shifts, including night shift duties and public holiday duties on a rotation basis.
