Centre for Digital Archiving of Mahatma Gandhi University in association with Marian College Kuttikkanam is organizing an International Workshop on UNESCO's WINISIS/GENISIS for Developing Digital Libraries and Archives. The workshop intended for researchers, librarians and information managers will be held at Marian College Kuttikkanam a beautiful campus in enchanting mist covered landscape nestled in the Sahyadri mountain ranges of Kerala from 6-9 September 2008.

The workshop will provide capacity to the participants:  for developing and managing Digital Archives, Digital Libraries and personal e-Document collections, making them accessible with search mechanisms over Intranet/Internet, publishing them with search engine in CDROMs; all simple and easy to use open source packages from UNESCO.

Last Date for Registration is extended to 30.8.2008.
