Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, invites you to the launch of Schoolbooks Archive, a free, open-access online portal for schoolbooks and related documents that have been developed and used in India and the subcontinent over the last two hundred years, in different languages and on different subjects.

Agenda: Launch of Schoolbooks Archive: Anurag Behar, Vice-Chancellor, Azim Premji University, will launch the archive and make it available for use by the public at large (2:30-2:45 pm).
Reshmi Mitra, Knowledge Resource Centre, Azim Premji University will present the objective, contents and how to access and use the Schoolbooks Archive (2:45-3:15 pm).
*Panel Discussion * (3:15-5:00 pm). The panel discussion on “A 200-year journey through Schoolbooks in Indian Education” will be moderated by Sharmadip Basu, Professor, School of Arts & Sciences, Azim Premji University.
The panellists are: Janaki Nair, retired Professor of History, Jawaharlal Nehru University and Visiting Professor, Azim Premji University
