Dear all Very sad news and difficult to believe that Dr Vatnal is no more. very active professional Dr Vatnal had earned lots of friends. It is a great loss to the Karnatak University library, the department of LIS KUD and the LIS profession. It is very sad to inform you all the sad demise of Dr. R.M. Vatnal, Deputy Librarian, Karnataka University, Dharwad on 19 Nov 2016 after a brief illness. He was around 47 years. He completed his BLISc, MLISc, and Ph.D. from Karnataka University, Dharwad. He was also an alumnus of NCSI, Bangalore. He immensely contributed towards the development of university library.
