Dear All, It is with great sadness that our eminent teacher Dr. Bidhan Chandra Biswas is no longer with us, who passed away today morning at *Fortis hospital* on EM By-pass road in Kolkata**. The demise of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Biswas is a great loss to Indian Library and Information Science Profession. He was a sincere, dynamic and student friendly teacher in the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Kalyani. No words can solace and fill the void.
