Dear Professionals,

All advanced societies gives higher status and consideration to their librarians.

News of ill treatments against librarians by many authorities and institutions in India are still coming out from different parts of the country.  Denial FIP to librarians is such an action.

 

So, it is implied that Indian society has yet to move further towards development.

 

As knowledge managers and educators, it is our duty and responsibility to educate properly such authorities and offices who blocks the normal cultural and developmental process of India.

 

All professional associations of librarians and associations of university teachers/librarians should join whole heartedly in such endevours.
