[LIS-Forum] Sad demise of Dr. Ananda T Byrappa, Chief Librarian of IISc, Bangalore

I am sorry and saddened to hear about the demise of Dr Ananda T Byrappa, the present Chief Librarian of the Indian Institute of Science(IISc), Bangalore passed away yesterday i.e on July 19th at 10:45 pm. I worked under his leadership at General Electric Company for 2.5 years and many LIS professionals have accomplished their internships under him. We lost a young and enthusiastic LIS professional. A great loss for the LIS field. On behalf of the LIS professionals, my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
