Dear Professional Leaders, The UGC has submitted its report of the Pay Review Committe but unfortunately the problem regerding pay scale of Documentation Officer has still been ignored or neglected or oversighted. Most of the universities in India including the Delhi University has treated the Documentation Officer equivalent to Assistant Librarian (Which is otherwise true). However, few universities don't treat Documentation Officer at par with Assistant Librarians and don't give them the UGC grades. This matter need to be solved immediateley with UGC. The UGC has given green signal to System Analysts in the review committee but nothing has been said about Documentation Officer. It is time to take the matter with UGC.
