The Department of Library and Information Science, University of Mysore, Mysore (UGC-SAP Department) is organising a three-day training workshop on 'Content Management Systems'(CMS) during 27th to 29th August 2009. The workshop is intended to provide knowledge and practical skills in CMS. Emphasis will be on providing hands-on experience on Joomla! Experienced resource persons from reputed institutions and universities would engage the sessions. The workshop is open for working librarians, teachers and other information professionals interested in content management. With an intent to make the sessions effective, it has been decided to restrict the number of participants to 20 only. Early birds will be given the preference. The last date for registering is 20th August 2009.

There is no registration fee. Food and beverages during the sessions will be arranged by the organisers. The participants have to make their own arrangements for travel and stay at Mysore. The organisers, however, would be pleased to help in arranging the accommodation at different guest houses/hotels only on specific request in advance from the participants.

The registration form should be returned along with letter of intent of participation duly forwarded by the institution.
