Dear professional friends, Thought of sharing my views on new NEW EDUCATION POLICY on libraries (page 61 and 62 of the document) I went through Library related policy content. Following are my observations: Nothing new in it to bring transformation in libraries. However, overall education policy is good and it surely brings in transformation IN education system Related to libraries, Policy should have stressed on two important issues at least: a) Every educational institution must have a well equipped library b) library should be managed only by professionally qualified staff. I believe, the above two will address all other needs and libraries will be impactful in society Would like to hear from others.
