Mr. Nayaka has pointed out correctly that the unemployment among the library professionals is on the rise. The reason is " more supply and less demand". Supply is more because the open education institutions are admitting the students in large numbers without caring about the quality of the student. Running two semesters is also not okay. Since it is a professional course due care is needed the admission process. In my opinion the distance education institutions should either limit the intake or these should be stopped by MHRD.
