We had the long-awaited awards function this morning at the conference hall of the IITM Library. Prof. Pennathur Gautam handed over the EPT Award certificate signed by Prof. Derek Law to Madhan in front of a small gathering of about 40 people. Among those who spoke on the occasion were Prof. Arun Narasimhan, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, IITM, and Prof. Mangala Sunder Krishnan, Professor of Chemistry and the coordinator of NPTEL, India's flagship OER programme. Madhan gave a nice acceptance speech.
