NOTIFICATION FOR LIBRARY ASSISTANTS<br>QUALIFICATIONS:-<br>General : Any University Degree recognized by M.G. University<br>Technical : Bachelor Degree in Library &amp; Information Science recognized<br>by M.G. University.<br>
Age : Between 18-35 years as on 01.01.2009<br>(Relaxation of Upper age as per Govt. rules)<br>Cost of application form : Rs. 250/-<br>Application fee : Rs. 500/-<br>Mode of Remittance: By remitting the fee at the University cash counter or by demand<br>
draft drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Mahatma Gandhi University from any branch<br>of State Bank of Travacore, payable at SBT, MGU Campus, Code 669. The pay-in-slip/ DD should be attached<br>to the filled-in application form. SC/ST candidates need not remit the application fee.<br>
Application forms &amp; details can be had either directly or by post from the Store<br>Keeper (General), Mahatma Gandhi University by remitting the cost in the manner stated<br>above. Those who wish to get the application form by post shall send self addressed<br>
envelope of size 27 cm × 12 cm affixing stamp worth Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten only) with<br>DD (SBT) for Rs. 250/- drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Mahatma Gandhi University<br>payable at SBT MGU campus branch.<br>Copies of testimonials to prove age, qualification and experience etc shall be<br>
submitted along with the application. Last date for receipt of filled application in the<br>office of the undersigned is 15.10.2009. Applicants who are in service should submit<br>their application through proper channel.<br>
The envelope containing the application shall be superscribed “Application for the<br>post of Library Assistant” and addressed to Deputy Registrar (Admn II) Mahatma Gandhi<br>University, Priyadarshini Hills P.O. Kottayam – 686 560.<br>
